Reuters’s award for Khaneye Delbar

October 24th, 2009, posted in Media

award-tavakolliI am very eager to know Who has introduced Miss Delbar who totally has 67 posts in her weblog Khaneye Delbar (Delbar’s Home) which has not been updated since 14 April 2009 that is six months ago, as the representative of Iranian Bloggers. Of course I did not have the honor of knowing her while I was a journalist in Iran. I guess we might have some common friends but as a blogger who is writing for eight years, I have been very unlucky that I had not seen her weblog. She also has another weblog with the name of ”Tourist” which has 11 posts which seems that she has copied some of her printed writings about tourism and traveling in Iran and according to this definition it is not considered a weblog.
In my opinion a blogger has a definition for himself or herself. A blogger is a person who is first of all a blogger and in the virtual space has a fame because of his or her activities. He or she should try to gain popularity and some readers. Besides that he or she can also be a journalist and any other type of famous individual. This does not make sense that a person has previously been or is already a famous person, actor or actress and a journalist and then establishes his or her weblog.

Public Security And Intelligence Police Of Iran has written a letter to the head of The Garment Union And Emphasized The Enforcement of the following items that I would like to inform our reputable citizens of the reasons of issuing these rules.

- It is forbidden to showcase and sell any clothing which has a Western brand and porn pictures on them. There is no discrepancy between western brands and porn pictures: Therefore, according to this statement sale of any Jeans branded LEE, Lily (LEE LEE), TRILEE (3 LEE), CHARLEY (Char in Persian means 4) etc means promoting porn pictures.

- It is forbidden to publically showcase bow ties and neck ties: This rule has been issued very vividly and according to its details bow ties and neck ties should be privately showcased to specific people and usual people should not see such bad instruments. A guy wearing a neck tie had once come to Friday prayers and the camera of Iranian national TV had lots of zooming on him. From now on he will be banned from entering Friday prayers because of the aforementioned rule.

Quds Day Rally on Google Map

September 21st, 2009, posted in Information Technology, Media

Since the latest Quds day which was yesterday (18th Sep), there have been loads of photos and videos uploaded on the web although there was an intentional disorder in the internet. But one of the most interesting things I saw was this map which was done on Google Map that is photos and videos are marked according to the place they have been recorded. Besides usefulness and practicality of these types of maps, this is a valuable way of recording events and history that will be more precious by the passage of time. This map still needs to be completed and other cities of Iran and the world should be added to it. I think this shows that Green supporters are trying to use free technologies in its full capacity. A new discovery by National Youth Organization of Iran

September 3rd, 2009, posted in Sociality

Having searched, investigated, probed and struggled for a long time, National Youth Organization of Iran finally stated the fact that: the majority of Iranian boys have girl friends [+].
Personally I am crazy about such news headlines. But don’t you wonder why they said that boys have girl friends and they did not say the majority of girls have boy friends?
Well done. The reason is that boys usually have some girl friends therefore girls have fewer boy friends. To avoid making this issue more complicated let’s go through the details of this research.
This is of course obvious that this discovery is related to other discoveries (Don’t be tough on me, not every relationship is necessarily considered bad). For instance leisure time .If a young person has nothing to do and wants to have a great leisure time, He or she should spend it in a way.
As 59 percent of young Iranians do not have any particular plans for spending their leisure time [+] and of course 70 percent of young Iranians know better than any person how to spend their leisure time [+], this is why for example they should read books. But the problem is that for 76 percent of young Iranians the amount of time they spend for reading is less than30 minutes a day [+]. Of course because 64 percent of the reading of young Iranians is superficial [+], only 30 minutes of their time is filled daily and of course their reading is not serious and superficial. The good news is that 51 percent of young Iranians have access to the Internet [+] and besides the Internet the 66 percent usage of mobile phones among young people [+] makes them go out of home and flirt and pick up girls and have relationship with the opposite sex. Now do you understand why Young people of this country are after friendship with the opposite sex and not fond of marriage? The answer is here:
Among the concerns of young people, marriage is ranked fourth [+] that is job, money and entrance exam of university are more important for them. After all these math relationships (Math relationship is also legal according to Islam, Don’t worry) we conclude that the majority of boys have girl friends. [Persian Version]

Attention: All these researches have been obtained form the portal of National Youth Organization of Iran and I played no role in producing them.

Dayyer Tash Bad

August 28th, 2009, posted in Media

Now everybody knows this soldier teacher from the South of Iran. Abdolmohammad Sharani whose weblog’s name is “Dayyer Tash Bad” could provide a lot of facilities for his school which is in a remote village with his weblog. His last piece of writing is very painful. This guy has a goal that is serving his people. He does everything he can to achieve his goal. But what is certain is that he does not sell himself. If he had, He could have found better ways to do so.
The problem with some of Ahmadinejad’s opponents and supporters is that they make no distinction between the cheating in the election and the people who believe in Ahmadinejad. However we should not object those thousands or millions of people who voted for Ahmadinejad. Because they voted for the one they believed in. The objection should address fake ballots. Ballots which have no voters behind. This is the reason for them to consider this teacher’s behavior strange and insult worthy. According to my opinion Abdolmohammad Sharani believes something that should be respected. He has his own reasons to thank the one he believes in. Now I do not understand why some people should call him names. Let this gentleman do his job. I wish media did not make everything political. If this guy wanted, he could abuse his position a lot. Let him serve his province through any person and any way. Doctor Mojtahedi the principal of Alborz High school and the founder of Sharif University whose book about the background of Verbal history of Iran is banned from republication said:” For me it makes no difference whether Shah helps me or Yazid or Imam Hossein. I was ready to get help from anyone to build schools”. These people belong to that group of teachers who love their work. Let them follow their love and do not bother them. [Persian Version]
