I am very eager to know Who has introduced Miss Delbar who totally has 67 posts in her weblog Khaneye Delbar (Delbar’s Home) which has not been updated since 14 April 2009 that is six months ago, as the representative of Iranian Bloggers. Of course I did not have the honor of knowing her while I was a journalist in Iran. I guess we might have some common friends but as a blogger who is writing for eight years, I have been very unlucky that I had not seen her weblog. She also has another weblog with the name of ”Tourist” which has 11 posts which seems that she has copied some of her printed writings about tourism and traveling in Iran and according to this definition it is not considered a weblog.
In my opinion a blogger has a definition for himself or herself. A blogger is a person who is first of all a blogger and in the virtual space has a fame because of his or her activities. He or she should try to gain popularity and some readers. Besides that he or she can also be a journalist and any other type of famous individual. This does not make sense that a person has previously been or is already a famous person, actor or actress and a journalist and then establishes his or her weblog.
Quds Day Rally on Google Map
September 21st, 2009, posted in Information Technology, MediaSince the latest Quds day which was yesterday (18th Sep), there have been loads of photos and videos uploaded on the web although there was an intentional disorder in the internet. But one of the most interesting things I saw was this map which was done on Google Map that is photos and videos are marked according to the place they have been recorded. Besides usefulness and practicality of these types of maps, this is a valuable way of recording events and history that will be more precious by the passage of time. This map still needs to be completed and other cities of Iran and the world should be added to it. I think this shows that Green supporters are trying to use free technologies in its full capacity. Dayyer Tash Bad
August 28th, 2009, posted in MediaNow everybody knows this soldier teacher from the South of Iran. Abdolmohammad Sharani whose weblog’s name is “Dayyer Tash Bad” could provide a lot of facilities for his school which is in a remote village with his weblog. His last piece of writing is very painful. This guy has a goal that is serving his people. He does everything he can to achieve his goal. But what is certain is that he does not sell himself. If he had, He could have found better ways to do so.
The problem with some of Ahmadinejad’s opponents and supporters is that they make no distinction between the cheating in the election and the people who believe in Ahmadinejad. However we should not object those thousands or millions of people who voted for Ahmadinejad. Because they voted for the one they believed in. The objection should address fake ballots. Ballots which have no voters behind. This is the reason for them to consider this teacher’s behavior strange and insult worthy. According to my opinion Abdolmohammad Sharani believes something that should be respected. He has his own reasons to thank the one he believes in. Now I do not understand why some people should call him names. Let this gentleman do his job. I wish media did not make everything political. If this guy wanted, he could abuse his position a lot. Let him serve his province through any person and any way. Doctor Mojtahedi the principal of Alborz High school and the founder of Sharif University whose book about the background of Verbal history of Iran is banned from republication said:” For me it makes no difference whether Shah helps me or Yazid or Imam Hossein. I was ready to get help from anyone to build schools”. These people belong to that group of teachers who love their work. Let them follow their love and do not bother them. [Persian Version]
